We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your .edu email address, full name, major, year in school, and university. We also collect listing data, messages, and usage data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the JustDibz platform, send transaction and message notifications, improve our AI features, prevent fraud and abuse, and communicate platform updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
4. GDPR Rights (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing of your data, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dibznow.com. We will respond within 30 days.
5. Right to Delete
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing support@dibznow.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.
6. Cookies
JustDibz uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.
7. Third-Party Services
JustDibz uses the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI features), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email notifications). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.
8. Children's Privacy
JustDibz requires a valid .edu email to sign up and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of JustDibz after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
